MS-18Pz PanzerKampfer Ausf G

The idea behind this custom was to make a Wehrmacht-inspired mobile suit, and the Kampfer seemed like a good choice. Alongside that, I had a lot of extra decals from my recently-built Tamiya 1/35 Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf G kit, mostly being the Iron Cross and Afrika Korps ones, so it helped me to narrow down the selection of colors that would be used in the kit:

As for the weapons loadout, it was heavily inspired by the equipment that would usually be used by their infantry units and vehicles. The desert color scheme was chosen for it due to these symbols, and would help it stand out a bit more amongst the usual white, blue, or red of other MS designs.

The painting was a mix of airbrushing for the larger parts, and handbrushing for the smaller ones such as the visor. As for the weathering, it was done with a mix of gel pen, a sliver Gundam marker, and a brown Mr. Weathering Liner lining set.

In terms of modifications, most of the main body was untouched except for the head, where the face and antenna were removed and the GM head from the Northern Pod set was fitted inside. As for the weapons, the shield was made out of a pair of Tieren Space Type shields that were welded together, with armor bits from the Ballden Arm Arms set fitted to the front; the machine gun was simply taken from a 1/12 Stormtrooper kit and fitted with a spare ammo case from a third-party Unicorn Gatling kit; the knife holster was made out of the Ez-Sr’s booster; and lastly, the cannon was a mashing of the Tieren’s rifle, a runner piece, and parts of the MG Ground Gundam’s cannon.
