Dong Dong Haro

I made this Haro model using a Bandai Haro 4.5cm kit, the model wasn't born like a real custom project in my mind, I just wanted to paint it and try a new technic I wanted to learn for painting my next project, but at the end the result wasn't bad, I hope you like it!

After removing pieces from runners I applied primer varnish at the whole model and I started to paint using airbrush. I painted all the model body parts with vallejo wolf gray color, after that took a mosquito net piece and I placed it adherent to pieces and I painted spraying from the bottom of model with blue paint, leaving the top of model gray.

After paint was dry, I removed the mosquito net and I painted with wolf gray from the top to bottom trying to make the color transition more soft and leaving the pattern paint part only on the bottom of model.

I painted the other part always with airbrush without using particular technics, except the hands that I have blended them with wolf gray and blue. After the paint section I did panel line with black accent and I customized it to make open hatch effect to show mechanical part inside of model.

I drilled a 3mm hole on the mechanical part and, I took a old red clear runner piece and I glued it on the center of the back Haro head piece. I inserted the runner in the hole and the work was done!!

The result is cute and it was unexpected also for me because I didn't planned to expose it.
